In his right hand he holds his gloves and hat. The background is light grey and the sitter's coat of arms is depicted in the top right corner: a black horn on a yellow background.

Leonhard Badehorn (6. Nov. 1510 Meißen - 1587 Leipzig) was the rector of the University of Leipzig (1537) and the saxon envoy at the Council of Trent (1552).
