The three graces stand against a dark background on a stony ground. The central figure wears a broad-rimmed hat and has her hair pinned up. She is shown frontally and looks out at the viewer. In contrast the figure on the right has her back turned to the viewer. The figure on the left has placed her right hand on the central figure's shoulder and grasps her bent foot with her left hand. She is the only one wearing her hair loose. The three graces wear numerous pieces of jewellery.
